We are located in Ogliastra, a beautiful region of Sardinia, in the small village of Santa Maria Navarrese. The apartment is located in the center of this village of 1,000 inhabitants, but it is in a private spot overlooking the sea and you won’t feel like you’re living in a built-up area.
The house is separated from the public road by a private courtyard, which is accessible by car. There you have the convenience of your own parking space in front of the entrance gate. The apartment is located on the first floor and is adjacent to the 400 m² garden with a view of the sea, which slopes down to the beach. The approximately 75 m² apartment has two bedrooms (air conditioning), a large bathroom and an eat-in kitchen that leads onto the shady terrace, which in summer is the actual living room of the house and is furnished with stone benches with a large table, sofas, etc.
The house is equipped with everything you need. Kitchen with extractor hood, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, laundry room with washing machine. Outside you will also find a shower with hot and cold water.
Between the house and the sea there is only the garden, with a green meadow, many spontaneous trees and the beach. The landscape can be seen in the photos. The coast is open to the east and the rising of the moon and sun over the sea is a particularly beautiful sight. Thanks to the shade provided by the many trees, the terrace is very cool even at the height of summer.
There is a marina in the village about 200 meters from the house and 3 beaches nearby, one of which is directly below the house. There are boats for excursions along the coast or for hire at the harbor. There are restaurants and other venues a few steps from the house and all services are nearby. From Villa Erina you can enjoy your vacation without needing any other means of transportation than a pair of sandals or, if you like swimming, a pair of fins …
Ogliastra undoubtedly enjoys the best microclimate in Sardinia and the surrounding area is full of beautiful landscapes and many interesting places to visit. The village is very quiet and uncrowded all year round, the people are warm and friendly, the best months are certainly May/June and September/October with an excellent climate and fewer people than in July/August, but even in the middle of summer you will find some secluded beaches nearby.
